Excellent food! The people who work here love tasty food! Wow, one of the most delicious avocado toasts i’ve ever had. New Orleans style coffee is also excellent.
I popped in at Hidden Grounds (just a few minutes walk from Grove St PATH Station in JC) to kickstart my day with some caffeine and a pastry. I got the cardamom bun, and it was delicious! I'll definitely visit more locations across Manhattan and Brooklyn when I need a to-go spot for a coffee catch-up with another Supp client.
We loved this little coffee shop near historic downtown Jersey City. The interior is very relaxed and cute, service was wonderful and the lattes were made perfectly. We also enjoyed the chocolate croissant and they have a delicious selection of donuts too!
Their new Coconut Matcha is honestly to die for! So smooth and delicious, I suggest adding 1 pump of their organic coconut syrup to make it even more perfect. I also recently tried their Bombay Bagel Sandwich and it must be my favorite thing from now on, definitely overshadowed their already delicious Salmon Bagel Sandwich! 100/10 recommend

The bagel is fresh, delicious, and packed with flavor perfectly toasted with just the right amount of cream cheese and toppings. I really appreciate the attention to detail and the great service. Quality of drinks is superb. I had a yummy iced latte. It was cozy to sit and people watch, enjoyed both the hot and iced latte. The donut was okay, not as delicious as it looked. Music selection was lovely.
5 stars Hidden Grounds Coffee on Newark Ave is an absolute gem in JC. The location is fantastic for a leisurely walk and immediately impresses with its bright, welcoming, and fun atmosphere. I’ve had the pleasure of trying their Salted Caramel Brew, which was nothing short of superb, and their Orleans style brew was equally delightful. Every roast is perfectly balanced—never burnt or watery—and the service is always speedy. Their unique donut selection is a must-try and makes for the perfect treat when the winter ends. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an exceptional coffee experience in Jersey City!
